Welcome to Augusta, KY

Somewhere between Maysville, KY and Alexandria, KY there is a small town called Augusta. At first glance this small river town is a beautiful tourist attraction with it's ferry boat and historic buildings. This town has been home to famous war heroes, actors, and pageant queens. But this town has so much more to offer.
Very few towns can say that they have such school support, not just athletics! But actual school supporters. When the fall festival comes around, there are people in attendance that not only do not have children in the school system but haven't for years. At the AHS reunion each year there are people that travel from near and far to greet friends young and old. It is truly amazing to be a part of such an incredible town.
This town hosts The Riverfest Regatta with it's pageants, car show, and many booths; Heritage Days with it's parade, pageants, and frog derby.
There are many beautiful places to visit in Augusta as well, and on your way to visit historic buildings look around at all the smiling, friendly faces on your way.
Augusta can proudly say it is a town where people still know their neighbors!
